The social media age ban has landed and it's a dogs breakfast. It bans young people creating age appropriate accounts with controls like no DMs, limits on ads, data restrictions. The obvious outcome is many will simply use an adult account with none of those protections.
This makes the whole idea of "if they wanted to, they would" really problematic for those with ADHD and frankly, a bit of an ableist concept. But that's a thread for another day.

Every American will suffer from higher prices and reduced quality of living.
Democrats see value in blunting the worst aspects of society. But a majority of people don't. A majority of people agree with Republicans that some people should be hurt (the "right" people, of course) some helped (rich people) and everybody else should just deal with reality.
