Genesis Allocation Update: Disbursement Error Fixed + Compensation Plan

During our recent site upgrade, an error occurred in the Genesis allocation algorithm. As a result, some users received more BasisOS (https://t.co/abeohyBA7l) agent tokens than expected, while others received fewer. The issue has now been fixed.

You can now claim a share of the remaining agent tokens based on your points pledging. We will 3× your calculated shortfall refund in $VIRTUAL and airdrop that bonus amount directly to your wallet in coming hours. All points pledged by under-allocated will be refunded.

Here’s what you need to know depending on your situation:

Group A: Claimed and Over-Allocated
If you already claimed and received more agent tokens than expected, no further action is needed. You may keep the additional agent tokens.

Group B: Claimed and Under-Allocated
If you claimed but received fewer agent tokens than you should have, you may now see extra agent tokens available to claim. If there's still a shortfall, you’ll be compensated according to the plan below.

Group C: Unclaimed
If you haven’t claimed yet, you will still be able to claim your agent tokens. However, there will be a shortfall, and we will apply the compensation plan to you as well.

Compensation Plan

Due to over-allocation, there are fewer agent tokens left. To compensate under-allocated users:

TL;DR: You can claim a share of the remaining agent tokens based on your points pledging. We will 3× your calculated shortfall refund in $VIRTUAL and airdrop that bonus amount directly to your wallet.

Example:

You committed 566 $VIRTUAL and 1M points.

Based on your points, you were eligible for the maximum: 566 $VIRTUAL → 5M agent tokens.

However, due to the shortfall, you only received 2M agent tokens.

You missed out on 3M agent tokens.

Your refund = (3M / 5M) × 566 = 339.6 $VIRTUAL.

We multiply the refund amount by 3× as compensation.

In this case, you will receive 1,018.8 $VIRTUAL (679.2 extra on top of your base 339.6).

All points pledged by under-allocated users will also be fully refunded.
