Rangareddy, Telangana | POCSO case accused killed six people | During the course of investigation, the police recovered the vehicle allegedly used by the accused in the commission of the offences near the railway track at Chegur. However, the accused was not found in the vehicle, and intensive search operations are continuing to trace and apprehend him. The investigation is being carried out on priority. The CLUES Team and Dog Squad have been deployed to collect scientific and forensic evidence from the crime scenes, while senior police officers are personally supervising the investigation. Meanwhile, the Sub-Inspector of Police who investigated the earlier POCSO case against the accused has been placed under suspension for certain lapses noticed during the investigation of that case. To facilitate the early apprehension of the accused, the police have announced a reward of 2 lakh for any credible information leading to his arrest.
