It is the ego. And that arises with the waking state. There was no ego in sleep. The birth of the ego is called the birth of the person. There is no other birth.
Whatever is born is bound to die.
There is no fear of death for that which is already dead.
The Self remains after the death of the ego.
That is Bliss - that is immortality.

Darshan of Sri Kengal Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Channapatna (Ramanagara District, Karnataka).

This ancient Hoysala-era temple, located on National Highway 275 near Vandaraguppe village (about 50-60 km from Bengaluru towards Mysuru), is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The name "Kengal" comes from the Kannada words "Kemmpu Kallu" (red stone). The unique 5.5-foot murti is carved from natural red rock, giving it the appearance of being smeared with sindur (vermilion).

According to legend, Sage Vyasaraya discovered the self-manifested red rock idol resembling Hanuman about 1,000 years ago and consecrated it. The temple fell into disrepair after the Hoysala period but was renovated in 1969 by Sri Kengal Hanumanthaiah, the second Chief Minister of Karnataka and a great devotee (after whom the temple is also associated.)

APARA/ACHALA EKADASHI- tomorrow

Apara means limitless and observing this vrat helps to wash away all sins.

In Odisha, it is called Jalakrida Ekadashi and it is celebrated in honour of Jagannath Ji.

It is believed that the Pandavas performed this vrat before starting the Mahabharata war and emerged victorious.

Similarly, once a pious King Mahidhwaj was killed by his evil younger brother.

Due to unnatural death, his spirit remained on a Peepal tree. Once, Rishi Dhaumya came that way and in order to relieve Mahidhwaj, observed Apara Ekadashi vrat on his behalf.

This helped Mahidhwaj attain moksha and since then, this vrat is observed to get limitless benefits.

In a normal Hindu lunar year, there are 24 Ekadashis:
