It’s incredibly heartbreaking for parents whose grown child marries a malignant narcissist/psychopath that separates them from their family. Human predators often isolate their spouse/partner from their spouse’s family and friends so as they are more readily controllable and able to be manipulated.
Predators do this in a way that does not appear sinister, that somehow appears to be part of the normal relationship or even considerate.
I know of many cases where grandparents have not met their grandchildren because of the isolatory tactics of the predator their adult child has married/partnered with.
