No coach becomes the best by trying to be the best.
They are obsessed with being the best at getting better.
And they identify, attract, and build that same trait in their players.
The best leaders:
Are self-aware
Lead with humility
Balance support and challenge
Fight for the highest good in the lives of those they lead
Are intentional, not accidental
Are secure, confident, humble
Call people up, not out
Lead themselves first
Be worth following.
A piece of friendly advice :
Don't EVER pour water on a person's joy. If they are talking about something with pure happiness and bliss, no matter how uninteresting it is, be kind. Words hurt and words stay.
One thing that gives me peace is knowing that God has my back and that He won’t let me face anything I cannot handle. So whatever wants to come for me, I say Bring it On. ❤️
You will have a bad moment, a bad play, a bad decision. This is life.
The best don't let it turn into 2 bad plays, 2 bad moments, 2 bad decisions. They don't let it snowball. They reset, refocus and get back in the game.
This is the battle and it is won or lost in the mind.
Avoid arguing with people who choose to misunderstand you. Some don’t want clarity, they just want a conflict.
Explaining yourself to them is wasted energy.
I think one of the most underrated blessings in life is meeting people who genuinely wish you well—no competition, no jealousy, no weird energy, just pure support.
Special thanks to everyone mentioning our names in rooms of opportunities. You're just somewhere doing your thing and someone is speaking in your favour elsewhere. May God Bless you!
