snow white also had a new idea but it felt much more “let’s make snow white a girlboss” than an actual artistic vision (though it had potential imo),,, but i haven’t watched it and i’m not going to so this is based only on what i’ve seen,,,also!! not rachel zegler’s fault!!

cinderella had a fresh take and vision for example + i think they had an idea with the little mermaid, it taking place in the caribbean instead of europe and eric’s story etc but it just fell flat and ended up being mostly the same but with less color ;-;
