Y'all can deal with a couple hours without a phone in public and if not then accommodate and if you still can’t then just don’t fucking go not everything is accessible to everyone oh my god shut up and stop using disabled people as scapegoats
not only is this insulting to everyone who worked on iwtv, to rolin’s vision, but it’s insulting to jacob, delainey, bailey & assad who led those two seasons. they put in so much love and hard work portraying their characters and this is what amc’s chief marketing exec said?
i feel so bad for actors like jacob anderson and myha'la herrold because they do such great work only to be critically sidelined in favor of their white counterparts despite being the ones who made their respective shows popular in the first place
dare i say the phoebe discourse is a result of people feeling entitled to film anything and anyone they want in public. you are not entitled to footage of a stranger, even if you payed to be in the room.
this no phones policy discourse is so stupid.
"What if something happens?" you can still use them in an emergency.
"I dont wanna pay 200€ and not be able to record anything" so don't? It really is that simple!
How do yall think concerts were handled before phones lol?
This worldview is literally the whole reason artists are implementing these rules. Y’all come to concerts and show your entire asses without any regard for the people around you and video the entire thing because you paid for a ticket
what if I fall into the backrooms during a song??? how will I record my backrooms found footage that will be uploaded to YouTube after I die and my phone falls out of the backrooms if my phone is in a locked pouch????
some of the people concerned about security during phone free concerts sound unwell like what if Jeff the killer is there and he Jeff the kills me??? I need my phone out of the pouch so I can be safe

@marygoorekinnie yes, there were bootlegs. but there weren't thousands of people holding up a device. it was done in a sneaky way that nobody noticed and that didn't make it seem to artists that no one is actually watching them perform.
the “i paid so i can do what i want” mentality is actually ruining everything and if people could think outside of themselves for a single moment we could maybe stand a chance of finally fixing all this shit :))
the no-phone concert is this weekends discourse
It’s such a non-issue. You can check your phone between sets, you get exceptions for medical reasons, if it’s seated finding friends isn’t an issue
people just throwing hissy fits cause they don’t like being told what to do lol
