today was a day i want to remember for a long time.
we ended up receiving more awards than i expected, and it still doesn’t quite feel real.
it was a moment i could never have reached on my own. i was only able to stand in this moment of honour because of everyone who always supported me, laughed with me, and shared my worries along the way.
i don’t believe an award is the end. instead, it’s a warm promise to become a better person and repay everyone with a better version of myself.
what shone brighter than the trophies i received today were the applause and smiles of the people who were with me.
thank you from the bottom of my heart. i’ll cherish this gratitude for a long time. from now on as well, i’ll quietly continue walking my own path.
even during the moments when i couldn’t believe in myself,
there were people who believed in me until the very end.
those hearts became small lights,
and helped me find my way again when i was wavering.
today’s flower didn’t bloom overnight,
but it’s a miracle brought forth by countless hours of endurance and warm faith.
from now on, so that i won’t disappoint that faith,
i’ll turn the difficult times i’ve endured into a beautiful story.
and someday,
even in someone else’s dark season,
i hope i can become a ray of light for them.
and i hope i can become someone who can illuminate even my own darkness.
