Early onset of hypertension may be related to development of major cardiovascular events in patients on BTK inhibitors: https://t.co/276o8SeAL6
Excited to announce that my first-author #cardiooncology paper got published! Grateful for the amazing mentorship of @md_addison!
Had a great time again at ACC this year! Full of incredible speakers, simulation stations, and puppies galore. And of course, a fantastic opportunity to present on how heart failure impacts rate vs. rhythm control of AFib. A big thank you to my mentor @abhishek_mbbs!

Despite bearing a better safety profile as a next-generation BTKi, acalabrutinib still carries significant risk of dangerous heart rhythms.

Great job to everyone in this project! It was a pleasure working with you! @GambrilAlan@md_addison#cardioonc
Hypertension development after the initiation of next generation BTK inhibitor: https://t.co/TObgC0zM6K
Acalabrutinib: >8-fold increase in HTN.
Hypertension may be a class effect of BTKi’s
And associates with the risk of MACE

The shape of intracranial EEG signals reveals a lot about human brain connectivity. Here's our latest preprint: https://t.co/1VSoIHdBl5.
Electrical stimulation inputs to the ventral temporal cortex form unique shapes depending on stimulation location.

Honored to present my abstract “Incident Hypertension and Clinical Outcomes After Acalabrutinib Initiation for B-Cell Malignancies” today at #ACC22! #cardiooncology
Many thanks to my PI @md_addison, the lab, and the CLL group at OSUMC for their support on this project!
My sr thesis is out! https://t.co/6iEvuJyyyg
Imagine a flight network: core airports (eg ORD) -> all airports big & small, but periphery airports (eg RST) -> big airports only. Chromatin can fold this way too! Core nodes = hyper-connected loops enriched for CTCF & severe daSNVs.
Undoing a knot in your earphones is great, but undoing a loop in your DNA may have repercussions. Functional genome domains modeled as core-periphery networks show how hyperconnected loops land on core nodes. A grand conclusion to my senior thesis project! https://t.co/ou3NcMryPf
