Follow-Up Statement Regarding the Incident at the Fan Gathering, International Novel Festival 2026
#GMMTV
GMMTV is usually so quick to take legal action against people for online defamation, false criticism, or copyright issues with artist photos. Why did it take them so long to file a police report against someone who was actively stalking, filming, and posting physical threats against their artists?
But tbh, after all of this, I just hope he logs out of his socmed for a while so he doesn't have to see those awful comments and all the negative posts on his timeline. I want him to take all the time he needs to rest, heal, and focus on himself. There's no need to rush back. What matters most is that when he does return, he comes back happier, feeling better, and knowing that there are still so many people who love and support him🤍
A whole incident occurred at a private event with specific rules announced and based on local culture. All the guests MUST RESPECT the same rules.
It is just as simple as it is. If you can’t accept it, just walk away. That’s not your place. But if you still go against society’s rules, people will eventually push you out.
It’s not about taking anyone’s side, but about the rules that were written. We’re human. We live in a society. Everyone has their own needs, but they must not create problems for other people. That’s the way human beings should live.
The biggest mistake is GMMTV as the organizer. Your statement is completely going in the wrong direction. An incident can happen, but the way you dealt with it was by ignoring your own guidelines that you wrote to keep everyone aligned. You carelessly punished your own people who were working for your company, without making a judgment based on facts and evidence.
We know you chose the compromise to keep your sponsors and maintain good connections for future opportunities. At the same time, you just DESTROYED the reliability, reputation, trust, and standards you have built for decades — for all parties involved: your staff, your artists, your clients, and your fans — just to pamper one wrong girl.
The worst part of this issue is that the Embassy should not have been involved in this individual case. The incident happened at a private event with its own procedures. If you can’t follow them, that’s totally your own issue. It’s FAIR AND SQUARE!
Asking for special treatment for your own people is COMPLETELY NONSENSE. You should respect everyone and their local culture. It’s not about nationality at all. It’s about the bad behavior of one person.
Rather than acting as a representative of a great nation with respect, honor, and impartiality, you made it a much bigger issue. You publicly announced it to everyone, making it look like this disgraceful behavior is something common in your country.
— SHAME ON YOU!
PS. don’t worry I’m mature enough to distinguish that it’s an individual person thing while most people are nice!
To all JuniorMark starmies,
I want to remind everyone to eat well and rest up properly. I know you are feeling hurt, losing sleep, and struggling to eat, but we have to stay strong because our fight continues.
Let’s support and protect our boys together. 🤍
please... please... @GMMTV please do everything you can to protect your artists! this has gone beyond being concerning to the point it's becoming a serious safety issue... we sincerely ask you to take immediate action and strengthen their security!
Phi @Pruris thank you for speaking up about this whole situation and for always having JuniorMark's backs. Your words meant so much to us, and I don't think I'll ever be able to thank you enough.
Your kindness, your courage to speak up, and your care for our boys will always stay with us. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts ❤️🙏🏻🥹😭🙇🏻♀️
i know each fandom has its own activities today, but let’s take a moment to send our love and encouragement to juniormark and starmies. they don’t deserve any of what’s been happening since the book fair event. we’ve seen this happen to our faves before, and it will keep happening to EVERYONE, to ALL ARTISTS in the building if @GMMTV continues to handle these situations this way, especially when there’s clear evidence ready for their team to act on. protecting all of their artists should be the bare minimum. so let’s unite, standing up for one means standing up for all.
