‘Umar ibn Al-Khattab رضي الله عنه said:
“Indeed, people used to be judged by revelation during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but revelation has now ceased. So now we judge you based on what is apparent to us from your actions. Whoever shows us good, we trust him and bring him close, and we have nothing to do with his inner secrets. Allah will call him to account for his inner state. And whoever shows us evil, we do not trust him nor do we believe him, even if he says: ‘My inner state is good.’”

Wahb ibn Munabbih said:
“Glad tidings to the one who busies himself with examining his own defects rather than the defects of others.
Blessed is the one who humbles himself for Allah without degrading himself, who extends mercy to those marked by lowliness and poverty,
who gives in charity from wealth he has acquired without sin,
who sits in the company of people distinguished by knowledge, forbearance, and wisdom,
and whom the Sunnah has sufficed—so that he does not transgress beyond it into innovation.”

Masjid al-Aqsā and Jerusalem (Bayt al-Maqdis): The Kingdom of Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him) and Prayer at the Masjid:
ʿAbdullāh Ibn ʿAmr narrated that the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) said:
“When Sulaimān ibn Dāwūd (peace be upon him) built Bayt al-Maqdis, he asked Allāh for three things:
[1] Judgement that would be in accordance with the judgement of Allāh — and it was granted to him.
[2] That he be granted a kingdom that no one after him would be given — and it was granted to him.
[3] Then, when he had finished building the Masjid, he asked Allāh (the Mighty and Majestic) that anyone who comes to it, intending only to pray therein, would emerge from it free of sin, just as the day his mother gave birth to him.”
(An-Nasāʾī no. 693, Ibn Mājah no. 1408, Ahmad 2/176—graded sahīh by al-Albānī)

“Remember Allah’s blessing upon you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts, so, by His blessings, you became brothers.” (3:103)
The verse highlights how Allah transformed the Aws and Khazraj from warring enemies into brothers united by Islam.
