@louaahh@getcharmedd@zarek3D I think you might be misinterpreting statements from g2 staff. I don't think they ever claimed to be the saviours or helpers of the region, they only wished the level in EU was higher so there is more competition. I think that has been accomplished as KC is right there
@Barltok56@debomastic@faethyme the g2 staff has never claimed they scrim kc, they were very open about why they stopped scrimming them if you actually watch the interviews. crazy to say this about the only team transparent enough to publicly post their scrims
@kcdams@MartinjakNejc@gavintraa its widely known that T1/GENG/HLE scrim their academy teams and middle pack teams (BRO, DK), not each other. they do scrim each other at internationals though
@gavintraa@is_gin29787 g2 did perfectly well at internationals so far this year. But ignoring that, it sounds like you're literally asking "please can we win pretty please"? Thats the antithesis to competition if g2 did something to hurt their chances of winning, it would only make the region worse.
@bicardrom@G2AiwZz@02Xebec the arrogance to claim someone else's accomplishment as your own doing is WILD to me. if this were reversed, and KC was the one beating LCK and g2 tried to claim they had something to do with it we wouldn't hear the end of the mockery
@bicardrom@G2AiwZz@02Xebec I think g2 is doing just fine internationally, considering their improvement over the last year and their performance at First Stand. They don't need KC
@bicardrom@G2AiwZz@02Xebec I don't agree with this logic, and I only use T1 as an example (who didn't rely on other teams to win trophies, only themselves). It's actually worse for the region if you start devaluing domestic titles by saying they should stop trying to win them for the sake of other teams
@bicardrom@G2AiwZz@02Xebec yes, in theory. But there is more to scrims than just good team = good scrims. Just because you have the better team doesn't mean you provide the better practice. T1 doesn't scrim GENG or HLE (domestically), so i don't see why g2 owes you anything
@bicardrom@G2AiwZz@02Xebec why is scrimming KC going to make G2 all of a sudden beat BLG? where is the correlation at all? g2 didnt need kc to beat lck 6-0
@Lfst14@81Mael@RomainBigeard you seem really angry my friend, i mean no disrespect. your replies are just very combative. I like kc a lot, i wish them the best at msi and for the summer. there is no hatred on my end
@Lfst14@81Mael@RomainBigeard g2 was literally supporting kc at first stand??? they were cheering for them and posting to congratulate their achievements. Then kc made a video mocking g2 when they went to msi. I get the fan culture is different but don't lie
@Elbig947@G2AiwZz well i think whatever g2 is doing works for them, domestically and internationally. I hope they scrim each other at MSI, but I think its fair that they don't during LEC.
@KC_Awooo@G2AiwZz they do this during international events, not domestically. T1/HLE/GENG do not scrim each other during the regular season or playoffs this is well known, they scrim middle teams (like BRO, DK) or their academy team
@Elbig947@G2AiwZz g2 barely scrimmed kc in winter but they were still strong at the international, so that makes no sense? They don't need to scrim kc to improve the region, they just need the competitiveness of having kc as a strong rival team so that they are more motivated
@zGenOx@G2AiwZz I couldn't agree more. I think domestically it is important to win, but internationally that's where the LCK teams will help each other, and I hope that KC and G2 do the same.
@BekatakaDEUS@G2AiwZz how can you say that after the excellent showing of g2 at first stand? beating the LCK 6-0 is no easy feat, they didn't need KC scrims to accomplish it either. There is no proof that scrimming kc means better international performances
@El_Quintus@Tiagoxcd@rodrigo_rlt T1/GENG/HLE don't scrim each other (if they do, its very very rarely). They mainly scrim their academy teams and middle teams (BRO, DK, etc). The fans also don't complain about it on twitter
