@Ho8Go8L1N The selfishness at the root of conservatism astounds me. As long as they get theirs, it doesn't matter what happens to anyone else. Props of SB208 were all about cis girls getting their due. Oppo were about kids not dying. *You* are literally sacrificing one group for the other.

@Ho8Go8L1N To my mind, one side is telling cis girls that their well-being is more important than that of trans girls, while the other side is desperately trying to tell trans girls they are *as* important as everyone else. That's a big difference. I guess ymmv.

@Ho8Go8L1N And it does have an impact on trans kids who don't play sports, by telling them they are less important by virtue of something they cannot choose. And it has an impact on cis kids, by telling them trans kids are *less than*. I find that a significant impact.
