Remember the person who gave up? Neither does anyone else. We are allowed to feel tired, stressed, & frustrated. But we are not allowed to quit on kids. They need us now more than ever. The end is in sight. Run through the finish line! Thank you for all you do 4 kids!

Google meet is my FAVORITE resource! It allows me to see, talk to, and teach my scholars that are virtual learners! I am so thankful for the new pieces that are constantly being added to Meet.
A6: Showing middle schoolers a little love goes a long way! They have been through so much in their short lives, and they teach me more about life every day. They are resilient, incredible, and hilarious! There is NEVER a dull moment in middle school!
A5: COVID has been a gamechanger for education. I have increased my ability to be patient and understanding. I have also learned that education is constantly changing, and it will leave you behind if you're not willing to change with it.
Q5: Being grateful is a way of life-- and middle school grace is mandatory! What is a silver living that teaching and working with scholars during COVID has helped you uncover? #MiddleMatters 💕
@missliz31 A4: There are two things that I have found to be successful in creating relationships with my students. 1. I listen to them and 2. I am ALWAYS honest with them. I speak to EVERY student that I see, and I could care less if they are "my" student. I love them all!!
@missliz31 A3: I ❤ the way that @ameeks08 takes a student-centered approach in her classroom. She lets students explore a math topic while providing them guidance towards where she wants them to go. I have learned SO much from her, and I have seen some of my students grow tremendously!
@cindyjersey@cindyjersey that is incredibly sweet of you to say! Not sure about it looking effortless, but I try to remember that if I'm struggling then my students are too. I would much rather make my life more difficult than theirs. :)
I can't explain how 😀 it makes us to see our kids asking to read after finishing their math work!! We've used our seminar time to read meaningful middle school texts together, and it's lead to them reading independently!! My ❤️ is bursting with pride!! @ameeks08@BryanCountyMS
