And the part where she goes “it makes you hard as a woman”??? Because you still gotta provide the structure and the discipline the kids need even when the other parent isn’t there full-time.

Then she gets quiet and admits sometimes she wonders if she should’ve tried harder to keep the family together. That honesty is rare.

We normalized broken homes so much that people walk into situations already planning for “I’ll just do it by myself.” Like that’s the goal.

If you still got a chance to keep your family under one roof... fight for it. Don’t let this become the new normal just because it’s common.
