Fourteen years ago today, I signed the Affordable Care Act into law.
Afterwards, one Republican member of the House called the ACA the “most dangerous piece of legislation ever passed in Congress.” Another predicted the country would “never recover from it.”

The disdain he has for workers is chilling.

To our surprise, we found that the cash transfer cut homelessness by 99 days, increased spending on rent, food, transit, and durable goods, and the reduced reliance on social services generated societal savings of $8,277 (net savings of $777) per person/yr.

For men, it has become an increasing challenge to meet this need for connection. https://t.co/uswx0CVdFD

The first step is identifying just one thing you can change starting today. Often, though, the next step in the process can be even more important—to identify what’s getting in the way. Read the entire post. https://t.co/auCMCzAjlw
