Today marks the 1 year anniversary since Davy was diagnosed with a #CDK13 genetic disorder. I'm so thankful for the CDK13 community and how supportive and helpful they are as we navigate a diagnosis that few doctors even know about!
I recently read the Dinotopia books to Davy & he fell in love with them just as my siblings & I did when we were kids. I found the audio versions (so many memories!) and they arrived today along with a postcard signed by the author, James Gurney.
@thissmithlife @kaosfkf I know someone whose baby is in a c-v a x trial and they're absolutely thrilled and convinced that it has saved their baby's life.
@TaxSlaveDave As someone who lives with a debilitating chronic illness similar to MS, my heart goes out to your family as you adjust and grieve. A chronic illness is hard to deal with, but can also enrich your life and draw you closer to Christ if you let it.
Me: I just did laundry! Where did all of your jeans go?!?
7 yr old: *shrugs*
11 yr old: On his legs, Mom. That's where they go.

Davy tried on a few masks this morning (required on the schoolbus) & ripped each one off saying that they smelled bad. On the 3rd one, I realized that his breath smelled, not the masks. Apparently, he hadn't gotten around to brushing his teeth yet this morning. #maskproblems
