One positive though, Welsh labour cannot blame the UK government anymore as they have done for years. There is a lack of vision, innovation and common sense in Wales.

@daveatherton Eligible young adults get this for 24 months after their 18th birthday. Tax is payable and i believe it will finish in 2025 -reported due to cost. It does include young asylum seekers. I don’t agree with all the policy but get the facts straight, and yes I live in Wales.

@daveatherton This story is not entirely true. In July 2022 the Welsh government launched a universal basic income as a pilot for young people leaving care. It is based on the fact that the outcomes for children/young adults in care are less positive than those who live at home with parents.
