I’ve been in denial since 2022 that I have “blonde hair” now — it was brown and the premature white has been creeping in since I was 18. I’ve been using blonde hair dye to cover the whites for 20 years…

Every time someone calls my hair blonde — it’s still weird.

After a week most of the contents of the top half of the freezer are returning home. Those are my aluminum foil wrapped ground chuck reserves for every-week summer tacos.

The power was out from July 3 to July 5, for the uninitiated.
