A good social media manager can only do so much.
If a brand’s leadership continually makes decisions that mar the reputation of the brand, no amount of clever posting will save it.

But the social media manager will be the first to take the brunt of the criticism.

I'm really concerned that far too many employers have confused the jobs of "content creator" and "social media manger" and equate them as the same.
We need a universally agreed upon definition of what these rolls are--and I'm not sure we really will ever have that.
