@IXGguy Also you are neither the head of DRDO , nor IAF chief , nor NSA ,nor India scientific advisor to PM. You are telling me doesn't mean anything for me until these people say. And I have done training at HAL more than a decade back and I know how loosely those people work
@IXGguy The issue is money being spent on MK2. And anything related to MK2 causing delay in AMCA , whether money wise , whether resource wise , whether facility wise.
@IXGguy Yes spend 10000 crore on making AMCA testing facility . Upgrade all existing facilities do that AMCA can test . Upgrade all existing production capabilities so AMCA can enter production ASAP. Increase money in R&D and poach resources to make AMCA a success.
@Ramandeep_Bajwa Ideally Tejas MK1a should have been just a prototype for tech demonstrator and focus should have been on MK2 with Rafale deal in 2021. This way we could have already got rafale and would have been focussing on MK2 and AMCA. Might be even MK2 would have been flown once or twice
@IXGguy Any time spent by ADA on work should be on AMCA and not on MK2. All resources should be completely devoted to AMCA. To take MK2 to production stage will take huge time and money and resources. India cannot afford. AMCA needs everything as much as possible.
@IXGguy Doesn't matter anything to be done on Testing facility is a money spent. Similarly to develop production facilities for production is a huge money spent. Money should be spent on upgrading infra for AMCA. Issue of clash of testing facility is a big concern.
@Ramandeep_Bajwa Tejas should have been shelved 5 years back. Aatmanirbhar is fine but HAL is.not a company that will give you aircraft on scale.
If you take 40 years & deliver 40 aircraft that isnt even combat worthy you are not in the game.
Welcome to the club!
It took nearly two decades but finally you are now understanding that the Tejas series has become a liability.
Both Mk1A and Mk2 need to be shelved.
All energy and money need to be diverted to AMCA and getting an indigenous jet engine capable of powering not only 5th gen but also 6th gen fighters.
Get 100 more Rafales to add to the 114 which are on the verge of being ordered.
If they are too expensive get 100 Gripen Es instead.
These numbers will keep IAF capability intact for the next 15-20 years till AMCA enters service and will also cover for any delay in AMCA induction.
@IXGguy Given all necessary facilities. Specially testing facilities can be shared with HAL. HAL can focus on F-414 engine production while AMCA can be tested and resources utilised on AMCA instead of dividing them to test MK2. All money given to make MK2 components can be given for AMCA
@IXGguy Firstly MK2 prototype is still not complete. No certification, no flight testing no weapons Integration testing etc. . Secondly you need money for this to enter production facilities to be set up. This money can go to AMCA. AMCA can be prioritised .

@manojzxc@MrStrange455590@Ramandeep_Bajwa If India already loses on superior weapons in early days of the conflict , then India will be in great trouble. Hence superiority has to be maintained. If possible in numbers.
@manojzxc@MrStrange455590@Ramandeep_Bajwa Don't you really understand that to have a sustain war for over a month will have a big affect on indian economy. Pak. Will be supported by all (Nato+China+ME) , india will be supported by none. Only superior weapons can end the conflict early and decisively.
@lost8n@manojzxc@VishnuNDTV@SparshKr910@ParthVa53135321 Issue is Mk2 is not coming before 2035. It is better to keep on researching and make a better stealth and 6gen capable new fighter instead of MK2 . And focus more on AMCA at the present.
