🚨 BREAKING: OpenAI acquires Astral (uv, Ruff, ty) to supercharge Codex
Is Claude Code in trouble?
Think of it as giving your AI coding agent the fastest Python toolchain natively—no more clunky wrappers or slow subprocess calls for deps, linting, formatting.
Tools stay 100% open source. OpenAI commits to supporting them post-close. No paywall coming.
Here’s what it does:
→ uv: blazing-fast pip replacement
→ installs/resolves deps in seconds, not minutes
→ Ruff: lints + formats + sorts imports in one pass
→ 10-100x faster than alternatives
→ ty: strict, low-false-positive type checker → catches bugs before runtime
→ Codex agents will invoke these directly
→ plan changes, edit code, run uv/ruff/ty, verify, iterate
→ Targets full dev lifecycle
→ from ideation to maintenance in monorepos
→ Builds on Codex’s multi-step agent capabilities
→ no more “generate code and pray it works”
→ open tools get AI-native integrations
Here’s the wildest part: Current AI coders hallucinate deps or ignore lint errors. This closes that loop—agents can self-correct with real tools, making autonomous coding far more reliable for real codebases.

@alexxsedlak You can get a C8 Z06 coupe. It’s not a convertible but you can unlatch the roof and it fits in the trunk so you don’t have to get the convertible model where the rear looks goofy while still getting that drop top experience
@alexxsedlak Depends what you want it for. Raptor is cool while still being somewhat efficient. TRX is super cool but you’ll be at the gas station twice a week atleast. GMC has some really cool heavy duty trucks if you’re looking for that
@alexxsedlak ”And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.“
Matthew 10:14
@alexxsedlak ”Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.“
Psalms 143:8
Glad to see your spreading the good news on your platform bro 💪
@alexxsedlak Acquire the wisdom from the Lord. It may sound corny but truly putting your trust into an all powerful God lets you live life in a complete different league. I may not be a millionaire or internet famous but 100% trust in God’s will filters out all the nonsense in life
@alexxsedlak I’ve never driven a lambo but I can almost guarantee you’d love a GT Porsche
GT3 RS on track was probably the craziest thing I’ve ever experienced.
Glued to the road is an understatement
@alexxsedlak Regardless of what you do with the car you should do a track day some time to see what the REAL hype behind those cars is. Anything above 300 horsepower is incredibly lack luster in traffic, it’s not just a lambo thing. Gotta get out into the country/tracks for those experiences
@Cobratate Romans 12:19 "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."
