@suerobinsyvr @DrPaulaGordon me too! but of course it makes perfect sense to offset the examinations so that some kind of surveillance is done within each 6 month period. thanks for posting....I def learned something today. so thankful for all the #radvocates we have here in Canada #notdeadyet
Studies show that most effective way to manage the psychological effects of cancer treatment is to help other cancer patients.
Itโs me: Iโm studies.
@Krytes42 what app is that? the one I use just drops the late buses as tho they never existed! not fun standing out in the cold waiting for the bus that will NEVER come. #brrrrr
@AngeeGabs next time you're at the hospital; ask if they can put an extension on the line.....the extra length, even an inch or 2, will make it easier to manage one handed!
Also a lot of people asked what I felt or if I had any other issues. It felt hard and like kind of a ball. I had no other symptoms at all. What I found is only 1.4 cm. Regardless how small it is get a mammogram and listen to your body
OMG---make this make sense!!!
reposting so that anyone I know with breasts can advocate for themselves
if u were born 1984 or earlier, and never had a mammo...PLEASE make 2024 the year you get your first; and if you discover any lumps or bumps--insist on one no matter your age.
The person with the most power in ๐จ๐ฆ to decide when and how women get screened for breast cancer has a major conflict of interest.
Would you put a covid denier in charge of pandemic protocols? ๐คท
Why don't women count?

@DrPaulaGordon@ebmgatineau no clinician can ever be as concerned about a suspicious area as much as I am.
thankful to my #yegrads that have pursued 2 unusual areas since my original diagnosis 2020.
biopsy few weeks ago = not cancer.
BEST day of 2023.
thank you to ALL the #radvocacy warriors - you rock.
