her grasp on it tightened, and she didn't seem too likely to relent easily. . . . all 4'11 of her frame. he'll be able to wrestle the cd from her hand, sure, but she'll do whatever possible to retrieve it again
" 𝒉𝒆𝒚— " struggling, trying to move the cd into a sleeve.
right. like that wasn't extra incriminating.
john stamps over like a hunting dog chasing a scent. reaching out to grasp her arm, holding his hand out for whatever she was hiding. “give it t'me.” demanding, serious as death. “give me whatever you took.”
“she probably would just to spite him, annoy him, somethin' like that. she's got a good sense of humor.” he let out a chuckle at the thought of the TARDIS purposefully not opening for the doctor.
" maybe i will. " the seventh had yet to begin his dark spiral, at least, not in full. nor had melanie taken note of such. poor, poor mel.
" it'd be comedic if the TARDIS refused altogether. "
“nah you should tell him, it'd be interesting to see if he even tries it. ridiculous or not.” the seventh he didn't have a lot of repertoire with and knew mostly in passing.
" really? i should suggest that to mine. . . then again, he'd likely call it ridiculous. " she chuckled. the seventh was slowly pushing her away, out of shame, even if she doesn't grasp that whatsoever yet.
there's a shrug of his shoulder and a sly smile. “you're right. i've seen a future incarnation of him open the doors with a snap of his fingers. it's impressive if i'm being honest.”
he gave her a little nudge, his smile gentle. “i know you didn't i'm just givin' you a hard time. honestly i think it's nothin' short of a miracle the doctor hasn't lost his key.”
" rest assured, i hadn't planned on it.ᐟ i really, 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 hadn't meant to lose the first one either, but here we are. . . " she chuckled a bit, before clutching the key a little bit tighter.
“positive.” he smiled as he put the key into her palm and pocketed the rest of his keys once more. “just don't loose that one too yeah?” he couldn't help the playful tease.
“are you sure? i really don't mind.” he'd taken the key off the ring with ease it was truly no bother to let her have his. looking for the spare would keep him busy after all.
