Employees are vibe-coding company data into external databases IT can't see.
Today we shipped the Superblocks App Database on AWS RDS. Make RDS your default app database and keep every vibe-coded app's data inside your own AWS account.
IT governs it for every app; dev and prod stay isolated, and rollbacks restore code, schema, and data together.
Your apps. Your data. Your VPC.
Shadow AI is the new shadow IT.
Today we shipped Superblocks App Imports. Bring apps from Claude, Replit, Lovable, v0, Bolt, or Base44 into Superblocks. They inherit your IT's RBAC, SSO, in-VPC deployment, and security controls on migration.
What you get:
--> Block exposed API keys, vulnerable packages, and supply chain risks before production
--> Token exchange and service accounts replace personal API keys
--> Ship inside your VPC. Data never leaves your network
--> MCP-monitored audit logs and RBAC across every app
Yasmin is finally getting the recognition she deserves.
A story: When Superblocks was early on, we didn’t raise enough to weather the AI storm. Yasmin stepped in and wrote us a large check for Spark Capital to extend our Series A so we could play the long game and reinvent our business for AI.
That investment happened on a 15 min phone call where Yasmin encouraged us to not play it safe but to instead think big and be aggressive. It gave us the runway to completely transform into an AI business that is now scaling fast.
Investors who show up during uncertain times and bet big on you are special.
I remember when Yasmin told me about the early Anthropic round, while everyone else was afraid OpenAI had already won the market, Yasmin believed not only that there could be a second player, but there was an opportunity to build something bigger than OpenAI.
She didn't just invest, she wrote the largest check Spark had ever written and this was before anyone had ever heard of Claude.
Again Yasmin believed in the founder when it was unpopular.
I’m proud to call Yasmin an investor and a friend.

Announcing Superblocks MCP: AI Governance for the Vibe Coding Era
Business teams are using AI to generate apps rapidly at scale.
Shadow AI is on the rise with AI coding agents running on every user's laptop. With the rise of supply chain attacks every line of code needs oversight to keep organizations safe and secure.
The time has come for IT to have its own set of AI agents to secure and govern the portfolio of evolving applications, code by business teams.
Superblocks MCP gives IT admins programmatic access to every entity on a unified data model: Builders, applications, integrations, permissions, audit logs, queries, usage events and more.
An alert about a suspicious query can be immediately correlated with the application it came from, the integration it hit, and the builder who last modified it.
That's what a real system of record looks like: not just a list of things that exist, but a connected graph of your software estate that supports the kind of deep, cross-entity questions that real governance requires.
Heads of IT at enterprises are using Superblocks MCP to:
> Identify applications using a malicious package and shut them down instantly
> Detect anomalous write patterns against critical data sources
> Trigger alerts when permission rules change on sensitive systems
> Analyze usage patterns to understand which applications matter most
> Monitor and control AI and infrastructure spend at the team and individual level
This is the path to safe, secure, enterprise-wide vibe coding at scale.
That's what we are delivering across 100s of organizations with Superblocks by giving power back to IT.
Read the blog in the comments.
Atlassian (TEAM) stock jumped 25% on AI acceleration.
Twilio (TWLO) did the same after hours.
SaaSpocalypse was a lie.
AI is accelerating systems of record revenue, and locking them in more.
Let me explain:
1. AI is not replacing systems of record. It’s sits on top and pays a toll.
> CIOs have zero interest in replacing core systems
> They’re allocating new budget to AI on top that queries the underlying system of record
2. Determinism still wins in production.
> Mission-critical workflows can’t hallucinate, they need 99.999% reliability.
> AI reasons and decides what workflow to call, boring reliable old SaaS executes it. It's a partnership.
3. This ain't a zero-sum game.
> AI grows software TAM massively. Every layer in the stack grows with it including the systems of record
> Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow will win big, while Anthropic and OpenAI will win bigger. All are AI beneficiaries.
Every major system of record will report AI acceleration next quarter and their stock will jump 25% too.
.@Superblocks on Snowflake is how you finally move enterprise AI from "cool prototype" to business-critical production. 🛠️
By hitting the Snowflake Cortex REST API and Snowflake Postgres, teams can build governed, AI-driven apps in weeks—not months. No data movement, no security trade-offs, and no more IT backlog.

Introducing Superblocks 2.0: AI-generated enterprise apps – finally under IT control.
Vibe-coded apps just became the #1 attack vector in the enterprise.
Business teams are building on production data, while IT has zero visibility.
No reviews. No audits. No permissions. No control.
AI hackers are about to get 100x better. Anthropic proved it with Mythos.
Superblocks 2.0 is the only platform to take back control:
> Business teams build AI-powered apps with permissions baked in.
> IT and Security can audit everything and lock down anything, instantly.
> Engineering sets the standards. Every app follows them.
Instacart, SoFi, and LinkedIn run Superblocks in production today.
And larger organizations we can't yet name are too:
A Fortune 500 just shut down 2,500 Replit users to standardize on Superblocks, running the platform air-gapped in their AWS environment.
A 150,000-employee global services firm replaced Lovable with Superblocks to unlock AI-built apps on restricted internal systems.
Every IT leader we’ve demoed to using Replit, Lovable or v0 asked for early access.
Today we open access to the world.
The genie is out of the bottle on employee vibe coding.
Let it run wild, or take back control – https://t.co/8TEolq14Z5

Grok 4 achieved a perfect 100% score on the AIME math benchmark and set the highest recorded score on the HumanEval coding benchmark, outperforming every other AI model.
@superblocks now supports Grok 4, enabling enterprises to build fast, efficient, highly intelligent business apps on top of their enterprise data.
AI hasn’t just changed the product - it’s changed the playbook.
Last night’s @Work_Bench NY Enterprise Tech Meetup was🔥
I hosted a candid conversation with two incredible founders - @MerrillLutsky (@withgraphite) and @bradmenezes (@superblocks) - on navigating fast changing markets, shifting product strategies, and staying close to the customer.
Here were 4 key takeaways that stuck with me:
💥 PMF is a moving target
AI has compressed product-market fit from years to months. You don’t “find it” - you chase it. Merrill said it best: silence is a sign of apathy. Brad scrapped his long-term roadmap and runs the company in 4-6 week sprints.
🧠 Your next user might be an AI agent
Superblocks reframed their entire product design process for an AI-first user. The end user isn’t always human anymore, and that shift requires new instincts, not just new skills.
🛠️ You can’t outsource product intuition
Both founders are still in the weeds taking customer calls, shadowing usage, tightening feedback loops. Brad’s taken 100 customer meetings in the last 5 weeks. Speed comes from proximity.
🚨 Shifts are hard, but necessary
Graphite didn’t abandon their original strategy, they evolved it. Stacking diffs became AI code reviews. And Superblocks fully embraced AI or risked irrelevance. As Brad put it: even a Series A company can be disrupted.
Big thanks to both for keeping it real, and reminding us that the strongest companies don’t just react to change, they lean into it.
Superblocks is now available in the new AI Agents & Tools category on @awscloud Marketplace!
