"members were against ai, what happened?" members were never completely or strictly against it. yoongi compared ai to the industrial revolution, stating that he doesn't view this shift negatively, that the change is irreversible, and that instead of just crossing arms and saying “i'm against this,” one will eventually have to embrace it. they simply stated that they DON’T use it themselves in their music production. furthermore, in their conversation with tablo, namjoon and yoongi expressed their worries regarding ai and the group's future, where tablo reassured them that ai can never replicate human emotions or bts. in yesterday's ad, only the information learning features of the app were shown. one reason for this collaboration could also be that google and samsung are tour sponsors. but some people here were busy using their performative thoughts under the guise of criticism to insult the boys. if the first thing that comes to your mind is that the members' music will also be made with ai, then you haven't really been listening to the members at all.
