The question was never whether Amit Shah would come and give a speech on some general topic in Parliament.

The question was always that Mr. Amit Shah has to make it very clear: "Who authorised the shooting of our youngsters in Delhi?"

He is the Home Minister. The question was: Did he order the shooting, or was he not aware? In either case, he should resign.

Second: The PM must apologize for what has happened.

Third was the issue of Ram Mandir donation theft. People close to the PM have stolen from the Ram Mandir.

We want to know whether the HM authorized or did not authorize the shooting of our children. First, he should make this clear. Only after that does the question of any discussion arise.

पुलिस ने लड़कियों को पीटा, कई के प्राइवेट पार्ट्स पर चोटें आईं। नाबालिगों की हड्डियां टूट गई। मोदी सरकार सवालों का जवाब ऐसी बर्बरता से देती है।

और गृह मंत्री? लगभग 20 दिन बीत चुके हैं, लेकिन अमित शाह इस मामले पर जवाब देने के लिए संसद तक नहीं आए। चर्चा के लिए विपक्ष के हर प्रस्ताव को ठुकरा दिया गया है।

उनकी चुप्पी सिर्फ अनदेखी या चूक नहीं - यह हिंसा को मंज़ूरी है। वो या तो गुनहगार हैं या फिर नाकाबिल।

हम सुप्रीम कोर्ट की निगरानी में जांच की मांग करते हैं। और जब तक उन्हें जवाबदेह नहीं ठहराया जाता, ये लड़ाई नहीं रुकेगी।

लगता है सुप्रीम कोर्ट के प्रधान न्यायाधीश की हालत भी मोदी-शाह जैसी होती जा रही है। वे भी कार्यक्रमों में नहीं जा पा रहे हैं और उनका विरोध भी शुरू हो गया है।
हैदराबाद की NALSAR यूनिवर्सिटी 2026 बैच के पासिंग आउट स्टूडेंट्स ने मांग की है कि प्रधान न्यायाधीश जस्टिस सूर्यकांत को दीक्षांत समारोह के लिए न बुलाया जाए क्योंकि वे उनसे डिग्री नहीं लेना चाहते।
ज़ाहिर है कि जस्टिस सूर्यकांत के लिए ये एक बड़ी शर्मनाक स्थिति है, क्योंकि नलसार यूनिवर्सिटी में सीजेआई से डिग्री दिलवाने की परंपरा रही है और अब छात्र उनका खुलकर विरोध कर रहे हैं।
छात्रों ने कुलपति, रजिस्ट्रार और फैकल्टी को पत्र लिखा है। करीब 450 छात्रों ने हस्ताक्षर किए। जूनियर बैचों का भी समर्थन मिला। पत्रा में दो कारण बताए गए हैं—एक, युवाओं को कॉकरोच कहने वाली टिप्पणी। दूसरा, जंतर मंतर पर पुलिस बर्बरता के वीडियो देखने से इनकार और “हमारा समय बर्बाद मत करो” वाली बात।
छात्रों ने लिखा—“उनसे डिग्री लेना हमें सही नहीं लगता। यह उन संवैधानिक मूल्यों के खिलाफ है जो हमें यहाँ सिखाए गए।”
दरअसल, यह सिर्फ एक यूनिवर्सिटी का विरोध नहीं है। यह उस गुस्से का खुला इजहार है जो महीनों से जमा हो रहा था। CJI सूर्यकांत ने एक वकील की याचिका पर नाराजगी जताते हुए उन्होंने कहा था कि कुछ युवा कॉकरोच की तरह हैं। रोजगार नहीं मिलता, पेशे में जगह नहीं बनती, तो मीडिया, सोशल मीडिया, RTI एक्टिविस्ट बन जाते हैं और सिस्टम पर हमला करने लगते हैं। उन्हें परजीवी भी कहा।
इसके बाद जो कुछ हुआ आप जानते ही हैं। लेकिन जस्टिस सूर्यकांत ने फिर एक ग़लती की। 20 जुलाई को “संसद चलो” के दौरान छात्रों पर पुलिस ने लाठीचार्ज, आंसू गैस, नुकीली लाठियाँ और पेलेट गन का इस्तेमाल कियाए।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट में इस मामले का जिक्र आया। CJI की बेंच ने कहा—“हम वीडियो देखने में दिलचस्पी नहीं रखते। हमारे पास समय नहीं है। अपना समय बर्बाद मत करो, हमारा भी मत करो।”यह वाक्य युवाओं के गुस्से में घी का काम कर गया। CJP के प्रवक्ता सौरव दास ने कहा—इतने बड़े पद पर बैठे व्यक्ति का यह अहंकार लोकतंत्र पर धब्बा है।
अब CJI के लिए देश का माहौल बदल चुका है। अब हर सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम में विरोध की आशंका लगने लगी है। यही वजह है कि एक बाद एक उनके कार्यक्रम रद्द हो रहे हैं। पहले जस्टिस एच.आर. खन्ना मेमोरियल लेक्चर रद्द हुआ। ये 28 जुलाई 2026 को दिल्ली के इंडिया इंटरनेशनल सेंटर में होना था। CJI सूर्यकांत मुख्य अतिथि थे। लेकिन आयोजकों ने कुछ दिन पहले ही इसे स्थगित कर दिया।
फिर मुंबई। TISS का 86वां दीक्षांत समारोह। 2 अगस्त को होना था। CJI मुख्य अतिथि। सिर्फ दो दिन पहले “अनपेक्षित परिस्थितियों” का हवाला देकर स्थगित कर दिया गया। छात्र बताते हैं—सैकड़ों छात्र और उनके परिवार पहले से आ चुके थे। पैसे डूबे।
उसी हफ्ते मुंबई में आर्बिट्रेशन-मीडिएशन वर्कशॉप भी टल गया। एक सप्ताह में तीन कार्यक्रम जहाँ CJI मुख्य अतिथि थे—खन्ना मेमोरियल लेक्चर, TISS दीक्षांत और वर्कशॉप—नहीं हो पाए।
NALSAR के विरोध पर सबसे साफ आवाज सौरव दास की आई। उन्होंने छात्रों की तारीफ की। कहा—यह न्यायिक प्राधिकरण को चुनौती देने की हिम्मत है। युवा जवाबदेही माँग रहे हैं।
कानूनी सर्कल में भी चुप्पी नहीं है। कई युवा वकील और लॉ स्टूडेंट्स सोशल मीडिया पर लिख रहे हैं कि पद का सम्मान अलग बात है, लेकिन हालिया आचरण से असहमति जताना उनका हक है। कुछ सीनियर वकीलों ने पहले भी CJI की अन्य टिप्पणियों पर खुले पत्र लिखे थे। लेकिन सबसे बड़ा रिएक्शन कैंपस से आ रहा है।

Young women beaten by policemen, many injured on their private parts. Minors with broken bones. This is how the Modi government answers a question.

And the Home Minister? Nearly 20 days and Amit Shah has not come to Parliament to answer for it. Every Opposition motion for a discussion has been rejected.

His silence is not an oversight - it is approval of the violence. He is either culpable or incompetent.

We demand a Supreme Court monitored inquiry. And we will not stop fighting until he is held accountable.
