@reb40 Your incorrect . Revenue last year was £50m not £34.4m . If you look at the interim statement you will see that revenue was £25m in H1 and a further £10m in July & August .
@rhomboid1MF I agree but the reality is that decades of consistent growth in eps & divis has led to a ‘safe haven’ for investors through ups& downs . Many are prepared to pay a premium for thatpredictability . How many others can say the same in the U.K ? JDG seems to have joined the party
@reb40 Thx . Makes up for many mistakes. Hoping SDI is like HLMA 30 years ago .Similarity of not only financials but style - let subsidiaries manage themselves & support from top only. V.important for scaling & maintaining entrepreneurial spirit . Reckon key ingredient for success
@RichardBeddard Hi Richard re your article on AFX . Why pay 46x PE when you can buy their competitor AGFX on 19x ? You halve the risk ! It’s growing at a similar pace ( doubling every 2-3yrs) , v.high margins over40% , high returns over 50% & has 2x young founders backed by Pacific
@WShak1@Jalopnik Reasons to be disappointed Looks good but too wide for U.K. roads 197cm ! Also weights 2.2T -same as a Range Rover ! Also range of 280miles (225m in cold on motorways) is still way off acceptable for me . Not sure it’s a step forward at all .
@caymanfrancis I don’t think accelerating growth of 28% on the quarter is to be sniffed at. Read the new Finncap note - gives a good account of the price level one can expect to achieve...upto 30x revenue .Fintech is the hottest sector out there and prices being paid are crazy high
@caymanfrancis Glad I bought more at these depressed prices . Earnings growth on target and business growing strongly with savings still to come from Watbio integration . High quality compounding companies like this don’t come around too often .
@rhomboid1MF Of course it was for all to see in the IPO docs ...there’s no more to come . They’ve grown it v well -he’s v competent ex Smith & Nephew
@Boros10 ARC - don’t understand why they only employ 2x Sales people ( one being the Ceo)when they have £3.2m cash (& growing )and long sales cycles. Maybe we should urge them to spend a little more on the sales effort upfront and build the sales pipeline faster .
