Ok I get why the moved on to the next generation so quickly, the first JoJo got too strong too fast. Dude had almost no character flaws. I liked the second guy because he had internal struggles to overcome, and that he cared for Caesar eventually.

Is the original Japanese this redundant or is it the translation? I've noticed this happens a lot, a character says two sentences but they actually have the same meaning reworded.
