My last straw with FFXIV was joining a "Beginner Friendly" and "Story Content" focused Linkshell to see if I could get other players to run late Heavensward dungeons. Only for the majority of them trying to get me to install mods to ERP with them because of my character. When I told them that I'm a man and not in the least bit interested in that, there was harassment and the most stupid logic put into attempts to gaslight me into thinking I'm trans because I'm a man that plays a female character.
The worst part is that the GMs did jackshit when I reported the harassment and false LinkShell tags, so I'm back to PSO Blue Burst and never looked back.
Finally, this remake is *not* going to be a professional affair by a professional studio. It is very much going to be a doujin project, with all that entails. Mainly, a lot of jank and finishing things just before the deadline (sometimes not finishing things before the deadline).
The truth is every single author you know "ripped off" a lot of things to make their work
The thing is that Toby is really open about his inspirations and even encourages his fans to give them a try
I think that's admirable
In Japan, there is the concept of “birth place god,” which refers to the god of one’s birthplace. According to this belief, the god of the land where one was born protects that person. My birth place god is Izanami. Generally, Izanami is worshipped alongside Izanagi. However, at the shrine in my hometown, only Izanami is worshipped. This type of shrine is extremely rare in Japan.
1/4 As for why sequels Anime, “Megami Tensei”, wasn’t produced despite its success, it comes down to an issue unique to the Japanese: which gods we prefer. I believe there are probably around 200 major deities in Japanese mythology… (to be continued)
I forgot to mention an important thing. “DDS Megami Tensei” animation was a hit in France and its neighboring countries. There’s no doubt about it—the production costs were recouped in that region alone. I think this is proof that “Satanic Panic” hadn’t taken hold in France. Also, since it hardly sold at all in the UK when it was released, I think it’s possible that the UK was influenced by the U.S.
JYUNYA : The portraits are 4k! And they're full body!
ZUN : I found an old backup of EoSD at home that had full body portrait.
JYUNYA : We could've used that 1 month earlier! We spent a month figuring things out only for him to go "Here's the original data.".
