This is my idea of the difference between Job and Career!

In my personal point of view, Job means what you are working on now. On the other hand, Career is about what you have done, you are doing, and you will do throughout your working lifetime.

Successful candidates I have ever supported surely prospect this long-term goal and their required expertise.

Identify the expertise and experiences required for that goal. Look at long-term goal on your career, not quick or easy option. Struggle on challenges, invest you time in yourself.

But what we have to think about is, what's your career goal through your working lifetime in the future, and what you have to do to achieve the target based on your previous experience. Your future is connected to now and the past.

If you just want to pick a job only, it's a kind of easy. Just open Linkedin and apply for as many vacancies as possible without deeply thinking anything.

Focus on your Career, not Job!

What's the difference between job and career?
Let me hear your idea.

Language, programming skill, marketing skill, communication skill, engineering skill, whatever skill that is, you should have your strong competency which the market demands.

Realistically speaking, Japanese language is a very important key to Japanese job/study market of course.

If you are really interested in working in Japan, language is inevitable unless you have very advanced and competitive skills in specific fields.

Language as a tool is very key factor to the local opportunities.

My point is how to become a competitive talent in this global market. This is including me myself.

Generally speaking, a government has to spend a number of budget to control this supply and demand.

But now this balance is not working, unfortunately.

Indonesia government’s decided to provide employment insurance to unemployed people.

In this background, we ca say Indonesia government realizes a fact that unemployment rate is increasing or getting a job is getting more though.
That’s why this policy is applied.

However, what’s needed for this situation is mainly these two.
1. To decrease the unemployment rate.
2. To increase job opportunities.

Like KartuPrakerja is one of the policy they are doing but apparently it’s not enough.

But anyway, repeatedly, as a recruiter in Japan, this movement is an opportunity, and KapanJepan has a lot of job information so please reach us out haha.
