Wrong game.

Mario Kart World has the worst roster in modern history

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

@ChristianityOn Not the worst way to be distinguished from. 🤷🏿‍♂️

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

@kehillahjewess I'm convinced that supporting the death penalty is just a socially acceptable way for a person to express their bloodlust and sadism.

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

Oh goodie, more Death Penalty discourse! I'm sure advocates of the Death Penalty won't resort to emotional appeals and poorly cited scripture.

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

@T3Allingham 🫂😭

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

Nice to hear the "the provincial gov't should intervene in municipal matters" crowd now squealing about the feds intervening in turn.

@bilbosfootcomb Not much further removed from you.

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

@Rock_zinger @Boenau Bike Lanes are so unpopular in big cities that Premiers Doug Ford and Danielle Smith want to force cities to remove them.

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

@Valyonetta I headcanon that Pauline was so horrified by the events of Donkey Kong Jr. that she broke up with Mario.

Anytime I hear a generalization about Millenials having Boomer parents, I'm gonna assume that they're likely talking about Millenials born during the Reagan years and not the Daddy Bush and 1st Clinton years.

Dennoriss Richardson, a Black man was found hanging in Alabama. Authorities claim he died by suicide but his family suspects police lynched him as retaliation for filing a civil rights lawsuit against officers 💔

"until somebody gets called a slur"

Meanwhile I see actual racism in "professional" settings regularly. It's rarely seen as disqualifying and is shrugged off by management and HR.

[gráinne (FREE PALESTINE) @cryptocaoineadh]

Just a late night thought, but I don't think we talk enough about how uncomfortable it is that much of parochial life after 18 becomes obsessively about matchmaking and marriage.

Just saw a guy who's an OCIA coordinator posting what % and age women are in the class. It's weird.

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

@kingbolby I've been playing the Mario Kart series before you were born, kid. 😎

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

@kingbolby You sure about that?

Melissa Barrera reveals she was “emotional” seeing Macklemore receive support after being dropped from Ed Sheeran’s tour for supporting Palestine, which she didn’t experience when being fired from ‘SCREAM 7’ for the same reason.

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

Just pull yourselves by your bootstraps and let the NTs clown on you and *maybe*, just maybe you'll be the guy they hang around to laugh at your expense.

[Etana @Etanarachel]

Look the uncomfortable truth is that to build social skills you have to learn to tolerate a lot of discomfort and even embarrassment. If you can push through that you might find that you're a lot more capable at changing than you thought.

Nuclear hot take:

I actually kinda like the fact the Mario franchise is taking a back seat. Not only because it allows IPs both inside and outside Nintendo to flourish, but also because we had a LOT of Mario stuff happening in the early 2020s.

[SuperBigL @SuperMightyBigL]

Well, technically I did get my Mario Kart World update even it wasn't exactly what I wanted. (Where are Pauline's extra costumes, you cowards?!) But OTOH, a Star Fox update, a new Kirby, and a new Metroid, so pretty good direct. 👍🏿
