A woman who previously had a close relationship with the man known as “Ai Pong”, the main suspect in the shocking case of the murders of two young Russian siblings and a Thai family near Pattaya has spoken publicly for the first time, providing chat messages and a police complaint as she claims she was a victim of repeated violence and lived in constant fear.
The woman said that during their relationship she was subjected to controlling behavior, threats, and physical assaults on multiple occasions. She further alleged that the man forced her to watch video clips related to murder cases and once told her he had previously killed someone and buried the body, an incident she described as separate from the five cases currently in the news.
The most traumatic episode she discussed involved being forced to lie in a hole that had been dug, after which she was threatened that she would be “buried alive like the others.” She said she cried and begged for her life until she was eventually released.
After ending the relationship, she claimed the harassment continued, which kept her from speaking out earlier out of fear. She has now decided to file a formal complaint and stated that she is fully prepared to provide additional information or serve as a witness in cases in Chonburi Province and nearby areas if police request it, in order to help establish the truth and secure justice for victims.
The account was shared through the Facebook page “ซ้อเปา - เรื่องนี้ต้องใส่ใจ” (Sua Pao – This Matter Must Be Taken Seriously). The claims remain under official investigation.
“Ai Pong,” or Thana (or “Pong”) Kerdthong, 43, a resident of Huai Yai subdistrict in Bang Lamung district, Chonburi, is among the suspects arrested in connection with the killings of two Russian siblings and a Thai family of three in the same area. Bodies were recovered from nearby burial sites; the suspects have reportedly confessed in those matters, which are being handled by police. The woman’s statements concern alleged prior conduct and are being examined separately as part of ongoing inquiries.
According to Thai media reports compiling available records, Kerdthong has an extensive prior criminal history that includes prosecutions related to firearms offenses in 2016 and 2018, a child-abduction case in 2020, and an attempted-murder case. Older reports from around 2010 also referenced his arrest in Bang Lamung on multiple charges, including the rape of a minor under 15. Relatives and local reports state that he had only recently been released from prison, less than two months before the current alleged offenses, after serving time for previous convictions.
Police continue to investigate the broader circumstances surrounding the recent cases and any related allegations.

Two arrested over alleged killings of missing Russian siblings
Thai police have arrested two men accused of killing Russian siblings Diana Nazimova, 22, and Roman Nazimova, 17, who had been missing from Chonburi since July 26.
Thongchai “Thong” Srinil, 39, was captured after allegedly abandoning a red motorcycle and fleeing into a forest in Wang Sombun district, Sa Kaeo. Thana “Pong” Koetthong, 43, was later arrested near Wang Sombun Hospital, reportedly with two hand grenades and a .38-calibre handgun.
Police said the suspects confessed that they intended to steal the siblings’ Honda ADV 150 motorcycle but attacked them when they resisted. Investigators said the brother was allegedly shot, while his sister was punched and killed.
The men reportedly told police they had buried the bodies near the foot of Khao Chi Chan in Chonburi. Officers are questioning them to locate the bodies and determine whether anyone else was involved or whether there was another motive.
