I’ve watched a few events, as some of my favourite players are playing LIV, but the over the top commentary, shotgun start which doesn’t allow a story to develop/ get to know the course, a lack of decent analysis, and general lack of storylines really hamper it

@MMcEwanGolf Certainly means Europe lose the “star quality” of that generation of potential Ryder Cup Captains and Vice Captains, which is sad. Also could have an impact on the neutral sports viewer - are people going to be as keen to tune into Robert Kaarlson (for example) over Westwood?

@PepperellEddie Agreed Eddie, for the general golf fan we want to see great players playing and LIV have that now. For me it’s the commentary which is super cringe, as they really over-sell the product. Can’t help but think if it had the quality of coverage Sky has it could be enjoyable..

@beaks1973 @MMcEwanGolf I think the LIV events have legs and will be a part of golf going forward.. got some big names in there who I enjoy watching. Just think the commentary and coverage needs work to appeal to golf fans. It’s where Sky does well in my opinion…
