But the 28 counties Kamala Harris won generated roughly 70% of Georgia’s real GDP that same year.

So when Georgia Republicans treat Atlanta and Democratic counties as a punchline or a drain, they’re attacking the economic engine that drives much of the state’s economy and tax base.
