I have no doubt that for many their illnesses deteriorated during the waiting time or people left as they simply gave up. It was a stressful and exhausting experience at a time when I was unwell and worried, as others will have experienced. #NHSincrisis

Having had two unexpected visits to A&E this week, having never needed to go previously, the content of #c4dispatches is not surprising. Horrendous experience and a 13 hour visit on both occasions, some people having been there for 30 hours or more waiting for treatment.

To clarify- was referring to those working in gov. It’s an unhelpful comment at a time when the government should be taking responsibility. The PM needs to take ownership and those below shouldn’t be chucked under the bus. Culture starts from the top.
