10 million accounts were disabled in 2026 innocently for reasons like “account integrity” and “bypassing rules”.

Instagram is silent. @andymstone is silent. And Adam Mosseri never talks about it. All they talk about is how good their platform is, and when it comes to customer service, there is none. Creators are worthless for them. I spent 7 years being a content creator on Instagram, and they shut me down instead of rewarding me.

Can we have the press cover this? Where are the journalists?

i subscribed to the highest plan instagram offers just so i could get a faster response from support and speak to a real person instead of an ai when i explained that what happened was clearly an ai mistake that i have never violated instagram’s rules in my life and that i’m….👇🏻

on top of that, they refuse to refund my subscription even though i only had it for about an hour. all they told me was that refunds are not available and that the only thing they could do was cancel next month’s subscription. !!!

panicking since this had never happened to me before and i thought it was the only way to recover my account before it got permanently disabled. in the end, my account was closed because of a loophole in the system, yet they still refuse to give it back.

@instagram @JemiRodrigues it’s actually impressive how instagram manages to ignore so many people at once. accounts get suspended for no clear reason appeals disappear into a black hole and support is nowhere to be found. yet somehow there’s always time for new posts and more ads. what a joke.
