i really liked it I just wasn’t expecting william birkin to be there 😭

[sammy 🛸 @supersamicom]

@PhoenicianChris @cinemashawn3 many such cases, I ran out of space but yes, people seem to forget that humor is a BIG part of the genre. Of course there have also always been serious horror movies like the exorcist and the original night of the living dead but to complain about humor in horror, like come on…

[sammy 🛸 @supersamicom]

@huntertenet I LITERALLY USED INSIDIOUS AND THE CONJURING AS EXAMPLES TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like people have forgotten what horror movies can be beyond cheap jumpscares ugh

[sammy 🛸 @supersamicom]

@evilagaiin Thank you I think this is strongest ending of a Cregger movie (i agree the third acts of his movies can be kinda weak so I wasn’t expecting much) and I was surprised, i genuinely think people wanted Chris or Leon to swoop in and save everyone at the last minute 😭

[sammy 🛸 @supersamicom]

furthermore the games don’t even have a solid hold on their own lore so to act like this movie is doing some great injustice to the resident evil canon is kinda silly,,, im begging yall to find some whimsy and fucking relax

[sammy 🛸 @supersamicom]

people complaining about the bits and jokes getting in the way of the atmosphere in the new #ResidentEvil movie........ I'm sorry but have we played the same games?

[sammy 🛸 @supersamicom]

horror movies don’t have to be ooky spooky every damn second of the movie for it to be good and movies like the conjuring and insidious have rotted your brains to think like this in the past decade of horror, yall have forgotten camp is a huge part of the genre

[sammy 🛸 @supersamicom]

I CANT WAIT FOR MORE PEOPLE TO SEE THIS SO I CAN TALK ABOUT IT #ResidentEvilㅤ

[misery babe @inaglassscage]

chopping up a fat line of what could have been with the card that i have been dealt
