12yr old managed 4/5 days since sept now can’t even make one lesson a day. No work provided for at home. No education. Oh and unauthorised absences and threats of fines cos that helps. Waiting for assessment since nov 2020 from Cahms

I read story after story of children struggling to attend school and a huge proportion of them are Autistic or awaiting assessment. We need to wake up and realise that the education system is not meeting their needs. Something must change.
