My time at Pixar is coming to a close after 11 amazing years. Below is a collection of my favorite moments from some of the films that I’ve worked on.

@madhatterexe I animated the scene of Riley punishing herself by doing laps around the ice rink, the scene where she wakes up at night and gets out of bed to go look at the coach’s notebook and the montage of Riley at the end…
@madhatterexe … where we see her getting good grades, playing guitar, playing hockey, giving her parents grief for having to do the dishes, cutting her hair, accidentally breaking a pepper mill at the store, being comforted by her parents while she is in tears on her bed.
I've created a companion to my “Pixar Moments” video. This is a collection of my favorite moments from my time animating at DreamWorks. (2006-2013) #PortfolioDay

@nmyheadpod I believe that is a different Mike Stern. There are two of us in the industry and we both worked at DreamWorks at one point. Super confusing.
I am looking forward to doing this again. The plan for this next session is to
* Animate several targeted tests to develop acting based anim skills.
* Discuss acting theory as it applies to animation.
* Workshop acting ideas to help each student create a sincere performance.
Pixar Animator Mike Stern is back this upcoming term to help you level up in his class: Intro to Acting for Animation! This class is built to teach you the subtlety of facial mechanics, as well as acting choice awareness.

I will be coming back to the @animationcollab to do a course on acting for animation this fall. I'm excited to share some of the new ideas on performance that I have picked up in the last year.

On today’s #DrawWithPixar, Animator Mike Stern is showing us how to make a digital flipbook featuring everyone’s favorite pet dragon, Blazey from #PixarOnward! 🐉 Once complete, you'll be able to share it to your IG Story for some extra ani-magic!
There’s an increasingly short, golden period where a movie can only be seen on big screens, uninterrupted, and in the company of film-loving strangers, all sharing a dream in the dark. THANK YOU cinema-goers for embracing INCREDIBLES 2.
