From Blue to Red: A X New Yorker’s Journey Away from the Democratic Party
I used to be a registered Democrat. Living in New York, I proudly voted down the ticket for years, convinced it was the party of compassion and reason. That all changed the day I watched Donald Trump descend that golden escalator in 2015. What I saw wasn’t just a candidacy announcement—it was a revelation. Here was a man who struck me as genuinely nice, caring, and special, someone who wanted to shake things up for the better. And then I saw how the Democratic Party treated him.
The vitriol was immediate and unrelenting. The party I’d once supported turned into something unrecognizable—lashing out with a ferocity that felt unhinged, even spiteful. It wasn’t just disagreement; it was personal, venomous, and downright irrational. That was the moment I started questioning everything. Soon after, I switched my party affiliation, leaving behind a group that seemed more intent on tearing down than building up.
Fast forward to today, March 25, 2025, and the past few weeks have only solidified my relief. Watching the Democrats’ behavior—especially figures like Senator Chuck Schumer, Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Representative Jasmine Crockett—has been nothing short of disgraceful. They’ve acted like utter lunatics, spewing rhetoric that feels designed to incite division and even violence against a cabinet I see as remarkable. Meanwhile, President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Elon Musk, and the rest of the team are working tirelessly to get America back on track. The contrast couldn’t be clearer.
I’m done with the Democratic Party—for good. I can’t imagine ever voting for another Democrat in my lifetime. The chaos, the hypocrisy, the sheer disrespect—it’s pushed me further away than I ever thought possible. Instead, I find myself grateful every day for leaders like Trump and Vance, who refuse to let the lunatics drag them down. They’re keeping their eyes on the prize: a stronger, prouder America. God bless them for it. And to the Democrats? Keep running your mouths—you’re only proving my point.
National Air Traffic Controllers Association President Nick Daniels: "The message is simple: end the shutdown TODAY. There is no excuse that these hardworking men and women are showing up to do this job and to not ever know when they're going to get paid again."
I’ve been on X for a long time. I’ve seen a lot of bullshit on this app for years, but I’ve never seen anything as evil as what Candace Owen is doing to Charlie Kirk’s family.
She’s pure evil. And save your breath telling anything different. She’s batshit crazy and a horrible human being.
Listening to Tucker bomb at the TPUSA event.
Listen Charlie Kirk was one of a kind. He was an amazing orator and he was an amazing debater and he knew everything about everything. On top of it, he gave people hope instead of demoralizing them.
Tucker Carlson is very good at demoralizing. If you want someone to list every single possible problem that exists that would be the person to go to because he will list the problems that actually exist and ones that are made up in his mind, but if you want somebody to inspire young people, you can’t demoralize them.
War is over.
There now MUST be an investigation into the abysmal failures of the American Jewish organziations.
CEOs need to be fired.
Donations need to be returned.
You guys failed young American Jews so spectacularly and I'm so tired of being silenced for saying it.
