Played the MW4 beta for the first time and I can’t believe I’m saying it, but I think this might be the first COD I skip ever in my life. This game is atrocious. Made for casuals. It’s literally MW22 with a slide cancel. Awful TTK, Gunplay, Maps, SBMM. I could go on. It’s so bad.

You can’t remove tac sprint without buffing generic movement. You created an issue where generic movement is so slow that you now have to use a perk slot to remedy it so it changes nothing

Tac mask feels useless because flashes and stuns are still egregious.

Character movement still feels heavy and not snappy in the slightest

Classic cod was all about being smooth and reactive. Fast ads speeds, faster strafe speeds, less weapon sway and bobbing. A mix of precision and speed. The reason why CoD took off as a franchise is because it felt smoother and more reactive than any other controller/console game. Remember the essence of what made CoD great it wasn’t movement. It wasn’t realism. It was feeling buttery smooth and snappy like your inputs and your character reacted to every one of your inputs and movements. Clean, precise and fast. Twitchy without feeling spastic.

Nerfing skill expression is not the proper path forward. Positioning and timing how you maneuver the map should be rewarded but it shouldn’t be the end all be all.

Rewarding the mastery of mechanics not the abusive nature of them.

Make CoD great again.
