Mike Johnson: โIf we lose the midterms, the Democrats will go after the presidentโs family, the cabinet, his donors, friends, and the rest of you who have committed crimes.โ
Pete Buttigieg says he was separated from his children after someone made a false report to CPS.
Whoever is responsible for this must be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!
I stand with Pete and his husband Chasten.
Who is with me? โ
Good morning and Happy Saturday to everyone who agrees that if the ONLY thing Speaker Johnson is concerned with is running "the protection program" for trump like a wannabe mobster, he should NOT be Speaker of the House.
WORST. SPEAKER. EVER.
Ho-lee-shit!!!
Thanks to journalist Katie Phang and Trump's corrupt and incompetent acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, the Epstein files are about to explode into one of the biggest scandals in American history.
A federal judge dropped a bombshell ruling Thursday, ordering the Justice Department to stop protecting explosive documents that the Trump administration has desperately fought to keep hidden from the public.
U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan slammed the DOJ, siding with Katie Phang in the first-ever lawsuit enforcing the Epstein Files Transparency Act โ a bill that passed Congress with near-unanimous support in 2025.
Now Acting AG Todd Blanche is forced to explain why he's been illegally blocking the release of shocking material, including:
ใ Names redacted from emails referencing a "torture video" and sexual activity with minors
ใ Identities of co-conspirators listed in a draft federal indictment
ใ FBI interview notes from a victim who says Jeffrey Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump when she was just 13 years old โ and that Trump assaulted her
Instead of doing his job, Blanche arrogantly claimed the court had zero authority to even hear the case. That gamble just blew up in his face.
When you refuse to contest the allegations in federal court, those allegations are legally admitted. Judge Sullivan called it straight:
"The Attorney General has conceded that he is in violation of the Act."
Blanche also never reviewed foreign-language documents in the files and has blown past the legal deadline (December 19, 2025) to explain his shady redactions โ by more than six months.
This ruling is massive because the original transparency law had no real teeth. Katie Phang's legal team cleverly used the Administrative Procedure Act to crack the door wide open. Now any journalist, researcher, or watchdog can walk through it.
The judge flat-out rejected the DOJ's excuses. "There is no competing harm to the governmentโ from simply following the law," he wrote.
A massive new study shows updated COVID-19 vaccines slash the risk of heart attacks, strokes, and deaths.
A groundbreaking study published in JAMA Internal Medicine shows that updated COVID-19 vaccines offer powerful protection for the heart, reducing the risk of severe cardiovascular events like heart attacks, strokes, and heart failure by almost 40%.
Analyzing data from more than 1 million U.S. veterans, researchers discovered that vaccination not only mitigates virus-specific heart damage but also leads to a 6% drop in overall severe cardiovascular disease and a 7% reduction in all-cause hospitalizations and deaths.
For every 10,000 people vaccinated, the shot was linked to preventing roughly 23 major cardiovascular events, 30 hospitalizations, and 16 deaths over just an eight-month period.
The cardiovascular benefits were most pronounced in adults over age 75 and individuals living with chronic conditions like diabetes, lung disease, or pre-existing heart issues. Doctors emphasize that COVID-19 is far more than a respiratory illness; the virus causes systemic inflammation, blood vessel damage, and clotting, all of which strain the heart. Crucially, vaccinated individuals also saw fewer health complications that were not directly linked to a diagnosed COVID-19 case, suggesting the vaccine may ward off damage from mild or undetected infections. These findings underscore that keeping up with vaccinations is a vital tool for long-term cardiovascular health.

A teacher stopped using laptops and went back to pencil and paper โ and students improved in just five months.
Frustrated by digital technology, Minneapolis AP Literature teacher Maureen Mulvaney decided on a radical move: she banned phones and laptops from her classroom.
For this 'old-school' experiment, students were asked to complete all work with pencil and paper, swapping digital PDFs for physical books. Though some students initially feared they would fall behind, the transition back to basics aimed to rebuild the deep focus and reading stamina that many educators warn are being eroded by a screen-saturated world.
The results of this screen-free trial were remarkable. In September, only 46% of Mulvaney's students felt confident in their reading skills; by February, that figure surged to 95%. Students who initially struggled to write a single paragraph by hand were soon producing six- to seven-page essays. Nearly 80% reported that thinking clearly and organizing ideas was easier on paper than on a digital device. Beyond academic success, students noticed a drop in overall screen habits at home, finding that reclaiming their attention spans in class fostered better real-world conversations and offline habits.
