Some Muslims offer Namaz on roads even when it is not Friday or Eid.

Many muslims use Namaz as a way to grab land. It is one of many reason why UP CM Yogi Adityanath has banned Namaz on roads and vacant land. If you want to offer Namaz then do it in Mosque only.

The Modus Operandi is pretty simple. It starts with few muslim men offering Namaz on road or in a vacant ground. They will do it regularly for few months or a year and then make Mazar over it, declare it as 300 year old Mazar and then take over that place. WAQF Board helps in case of land grabbing by declaring the properties as WAQF Property.
