What truly matters is how far we’ve come, the resilience we’ve built, & z determination that keeps us moving forward with purpose & passion.
Progress is not always loud. Sometimes, it simply z decision to keep going
#Progress#Resilience#Determination#Mindset#KeeptheFaith
Business as usual is a mindset that no longer serve us in today’s ever-evolving arena and fast-shifting rhetoric. Only bold thinkers who embrace constraints and innovate to rewrite the rules of the game will thrive.
One of the biggest mistakes in advocacy and policy influencing is treating political economy as background contexts. In Global South settings, political economy is the operating system i.e it shapes what ideas are allowed, ignored, delayed or blocked in policy and advocacy work.
Ethiopia rises! 🇪🇹 History made, & a new story begins. The inauguration of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (#GERD), Africa’s biggest hydropower dam, stands as a symbol of resilience, innovation & unity. A beacon of sustaniable progress, regional cooperation & national pride
'Voices once ignored now demand to be heard,’ said H.E PM Abiy Ahmed at AU
These reflects shift in power, signal justice & recognition to restore dignity to unheard. they carry urgency & reminding us the silenced are now the storytellers, shaping the narrative of shared future.
The world is changing. Voices once ignored are now demanding to be heard. In this new era, we cannot speak in fragments. We must speak as one. That is why the AU–CARICOM partnership matters. It is rooted in opportunity. Guided by frameworks that reflect today’s realities. In a worldwhere global challenges demand regional unity, and where regions like ours cannot act alone.
Congratulations to all Ethiopians on another milestone in our journey toward food security and agricultural transformation. Today, we signed the Fertilizer Complex Shareholder Investment Agreement between Ethiopian Investment Holdings and Dangote Group. With an investment of $2.5 billion, this mega project will produce up to 3 million metric tons of fertilizer annually, placing Ethiopia among the largest producers globally.
This project will create jobs locally, ensure a reliable fertilizer supply for our farmers who have long faced challenges, and mark a decisive step in our path to food sovereignty. It strengthens Ethiopia’s competitiveness across the continent and reflects our commitment to executing strategic investments that serve our people and our future.
Following today’s signing, we will officially launch the project on site. We have started this journey, and we will finish it for our farmers, for our economy, and for Ethiopia’s future.
First, they said the Grand Renaissance Dam is sold!
Then, they said it is a hoax intended to divert attention from other problems; it is not going to be completed!
Then, they said there is no money to do it!
In the end, it is here and all that negativity did not stop it!
Now, defeated and in disarray, they want to seek succor from the embarrassment by turning the discourse to “who did it”; with a clear intention of discrediting the extraordinary leadership Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed showed in realizing this age-old Ethiopian aspiration.
This attempt may have been dismissed as an example of mini Historical Negationism if it was confined to the long history of this project. But it is actually a negationism of the very contemporary facts we witnessed in realtime!
The story of GERD would have remained like a few draft chapters of a book planned to be written without the bold leadership of the Prime Minister. Now, it is a complete book, and one that is highly acclaimed! Credit goes to him and all those who participated in making this happen!!!
🇮🇱☢️ Israel’s Samson Doctrine — no myth
'If we go down,so do our enemies'
As Isreal - Iran tensions rise in 2025, nuclear deterrence isn't a theory, it's the edge of strategy
The message is clear: If Israel's survival is at stake, deterrence turns existential.

#What_truly_matters: let’s embrace progress, celebrate our resilience and determination as we move forward with purpose and passion!
I am excited to see what the future holds!
We give God all the glory for an incredible evening with 320,000 people packed into Meskel Square in the center of Addis Ababa to hear a message from God’s Word. There is power in the Gospel, and we praise the Lord for every person who accepted God’s gift of salvation today by repenting of their sins and believing on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die” (John 11:25-26a). @BGEA
