So fandoms shipping two characters, most specifically one who is already gay and his lifelong best friend is common

I mean i found the book interesting and still keep on reading it, idk how to explain but this book is the most male centered book with a female lead and i get that it’s just how the story of greek mythology were, but why they marketed it as this „female rage feminist book“

So i‘m currently reading „Circe“ by madeline miller and one thing i don’t get is that in what way is that an empowering feminist book? I feel like there isn’t even one likeable female character in the book, including the main character.
