CEIL, a 100% subsidiary of EIL, has signed a landmark MoA with ONGC to provide comprehensive Third Party Inspection and Certification Services for their offshore and onshore projects. The MoA was signed by Head Offshore Works, ONGC, Mr. R Narahari and CEO-CEIL, Mr. Rajiv Ranjan, in a signing ceremony held in the august presence of Executive Director, ONGC, Mr. RN Satish Babu & Director CEIL, Mrs. Jayati Ghosh, along with other senior officials from both organisations.

CEIL will play a crucial role as the “third eye” of ONGC in providing value-added independent insights, ensuring strict adherence to quality benchmarks, safety protocols and certification processes across key projects.

Engineers India Limited (EIL) has been the front-runner in delivering services to various clients for green hydrogen projects that are critical to the decarbonization of multiple industries. A notable project in this regard is a 10 MW Green Hydrogen plant in Vijaipur that uses state-of-the-art Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) technology. The unit, designed to produce 4.3 tonnes per day (TPD) of green hydrogen using renewable energy from the grid, was successfully commissioned recently. EIL is also capable of blending green hydrogen in natural gas pipelines and city gas distribution networks.

EIL successfully executed India's largest single-train hydrocracker at the Visakh Refinery Modernisation Project (VRMP).

The state-of-the-art unit, as part of Visakh Refinery's refining capacity enhancement project of up to 15 MMTPA, has one of the lowest Energy Numbers in India with the latest features at par with units designed by international engineering companies.
