There is a concentrated effort in America to paint literally everything (including having running water or breathable air) as decadent luxury meant only for the chosen people.
You're supposed to let it grow until it looks like shit and then cut it a bit shorter than you want to maximize the time until you need to cut it again
I hate when people at work ask you what books you are reading for professional development. I am reading books to counteract the effects of being professionally developed. I am reading books that bring me back to being human.
