@ThinkAppraiser San Clemente was just seen as a little seedy because it was next to Pendleton. Same with Oceanside. Pre 9-11 and GWOT perceptions of the military were different.

Privately owned and maintained streets are more common than you realize. You just don’t know they’re private property. They’re either owned by a HOA or every house in the neighborhood has a TIC interest.
@Libertyordaeth@MickeyBlowtorch@surveytheland It actually is pretty common for streets in newer developments to be private property. It may be on a public right of way (or not) but it’s still private property.
@OliverBCushing@AMandoSch Real estate price trends in southern CA the past 40 years makes QPRTs a little more common here.
